    Mayvin® is currently seeking an experienced Acquisition Planners to provide procurement requirements support to Special Operation Forces (SOF). This position will be located in Lexington, Ky. The primary objective of this position is to provide contracts related expertise applied toward the review and evaluation of contract requirements packages.

    You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered.


    Active Secret clearance is required.


    This position is contingent upon contract award.


    Coordinates and generates material requisitions (Reqs) to support Special Operation Forces (SOF) efforts. Must have basic knowledge of supply chain elements and material flow from the time the requirements are released to material deliver. Must be detail oriented, able to communicate effectively across functions, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.  Other responsibilities include:


    Review procurement documents for compliance
    Assist the requirements originators with any necessary revisions or adjustments
    Maintain a record of all contract requisition documents in accordance with applicable records management directives and classification markings
    Review existing acquisition trackers daily for status on all active requisitions. 
    Make recommendations for acquisition process improvements to include improvements to user interface of existing tools
    Assist Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COR) to prepare for programmatic reviews, internal inspections, or other oversight and compliance audits or reviews
    As required, provide current status of existing contracts and pending procurement actions
    Prepare classified material for mailing in accordance with federal regulations regarding the proper handling, storage, and transport of classified information. 
    Assist with the preparation and delivery of acquisition related training
    Prepare quarterly status reports (QSR) of all current and pending acquisitions. QSR format to be determined


    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelors of Science or Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline from an accredited college.

    Must be able to obtain Interim Secret security clearance prior to start

    Desired Skills:
    Minimum 3.0 GPA

    Supply chain background (education or professional) preferred

    Basic knowledge of supply chain / acquisition life cycle

    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PPT

    Demonstrated strong communication skills

    Works effectively in teams

    Work experience in business or related fields

    Experience or knowledge working in aerospace environment

    4 yr and up College
