    Mayvin® is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative support for Naval Special Warfare Group TEN (NSWG-10), Special Reconnaissance Team-ONE (SRT-1). This position will be located on Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, CA. This position supports administrative tasks which include but are not limited to maintenance of the PERSTEMPO databases, processing military awards, performance evaluations, various correspondence preparation, assist with customer service and various administrative functions, support of DTS administration, and assistance with Naval Special Warfare Defense Ready and NTRMS Systems for daily reporting input and verification.

     

    You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Active Secret clearance required.

    This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Responsibilities

    • Process data from DTS reports for entry into Personnel Tempo (PERSTEMPO) database
    • Create Duty Status events in authorized database and assist with DEPREP input and verification
    • Draft official command correspondence
    • Process military awards and maintain corresponding tracker
    • Process military performance evaluations and fitness reports
    • Maintain and manage PERSTEMPO database and provide PERSTEMPO reports as needed
    • Review PCS travel reimbursement vouchers for completeness, accuracy and proper expenditure of Federal funds
    • Screens and verifies all receipts, travel advances, and entitlements in compliance with Joint Travel Regulations
    • Conducts liaison with Consolidated Travel Office (CTO) and supporting Personnel Support Detachment for arrangement of travel to localities internal and external to CONUS
    • Processes the submissions of PCS travel vouchers by military personnel within five (5) working days after completion of travel
    • Ensures vouchers are correct and comply with Joint Travel Regulations Contacts travelers regarding receipt or erroneous documentation required for payment
    • Provides SRT Administrative departments with copies of orders and order modifications to ensure tax-free compensation when applicable
    • Provides technical travel and guidance to military personnel in travel voucher review functions

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred but not required

    Clearance:

    • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Current Secret/SCI clearance is required

    Required:

    • Minimum of four years of prior DOD experience
    • Experience with PERSTEMPO and DTS required
    • Experience with DefenseReady and NTRMS highly preferred
    • Strong business acumen
    • Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
    • Ability to work in a team environment
