Mayvin® is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Solider organization located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Conduct interoperability analysis, system standards, military operations (ground, sea, air, and space), program analysis, requirements analysis, program planning, and cost analysis.
Performs top level design and oversees development, fabrication, testing, installation, and troubleshooting
Sets and maintains overall direction for a program to control overall scope, budget, and schedule for complex, multi-project programs and communicates with managing directors and client executive management to ensure that critical program related issues are addressed
Performs planning to include technical management, system integration, verification and validation, evaluation of alternatives encompassing cost and risk, supportability and analyses are performed at all levels of total system to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge performance, schedule, and cost requirements
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or assignments
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives
Demonstrates domain and expert technical knowledge
Plans, directs and manages activities to ensure that technical requirements are met
Interactions involve interfacing with senior management
Coordinates efforts with other program offices
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting DoD
Candidates must have a fundamental understanding and experience in DoD Acquisition programs and DoD Instruction 5000.2.
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with USA or USMC Infantry Operations
Must possess an active SECRET clearance.
Experience within PEO Soldier Engineering experience
