  • Overview

    (Mayvin®) is currently seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to provide technical support, generally hardware related, at prescribed customer locations. The position will be located at Gillem Enclave in Forest Park, GA. For this position, we are looking for a candidate with field engineering, troubleshooting and repair experience, excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work independently. Candidates must be licensed electricians.

     

     

    Travel will be involved to include to possible OCONUS sites.

    You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Active Secret clearance is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in research, design, development, fabrication, installation, modification, repair, testing, certification and validation of the following systems: portable shelters, containers, electronics, instrumentation, electro-mechanical, mechanical, power and power generation, plumbing, hydraulics, communication, information technology, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and structural.
    • Provide engineering support across a full range of operational requirements, both CONUS and OCONUS, to include shipboard/at-sea and military/in-theatre duty-station assignments.
    • Conduct studies and analysis to determine suitability, feasibility and cost of system modifications.
    • Coordinate to ensure maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of systems and subsystems.
    • Coordinate or perform installation/de-installation, in-service support, modifications, integration, and preventive/corrective maintenance of systems and subsystems.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • A High School Diploma is required (BA/BS preferred but not required).

    Clearance:

    • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; active Secret clearance is required.

    Experience:

    • Must have and maintain a valid US Passport
    • Must be licensed electrician 
    • Physical ability and commitment to travel, possibly globally, as a team member.
    • Five (5) years professional experience that includes:
      • Three (3) years of design and integration experience of developmental system concepts, from developmental stages through initial evaluation.
      • One (1) year of experience in the development and execution of strategic plans, systems specifications, design requirements, and test and evaluation planning documents.
    • Desired experience in heating and air conditioning, power distribution and generator maintenance and mobile shelter design and implementation.
    • The above experience should demonstrate the ability to interface with senior members of DoD organizations to develop and support technical positions, to justify technical recommendations, and to write technical documentation.
    • Experience working with an OIF/OEF Laboratory, TEDAC facility, or other NGIC, DoD or ATF Lab; inter-agency or state/local law enforcement forensics labs preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, excel spreadsheets.
    • Strong communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate via email, telephone calls, and video teleconferencing.
