    Mayvin® is currently seeking a mid-level Administrative Technician for an exciting, yet challenging opportunity. The successful candidate will provide support as a DoD client’s Administrative Technician. In this position, the candidate will assist the J1 Civilian HR Specialist by providing routine administrative support to the unit’s civilian employees. The Administrative Technician will focus on routine HR actions to include pay, awards/decorations, Request for Personnel Actions, in/out-processing, scheduling physical exams, and records maintenance. The Administrative Technician will provide administrative support to the unit and J1 Civilian HR Specialist as required.


    You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. You must be currently cleared at the Secret and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance.


    • Providing Civilian Financial Support Functions:
      • Coding Time-cards
      • Processing leave and overtime requests
      • Processing Pay Transactions
    • Providing Routine Administrative Support Functions:
      • Civilian Awards and Decorations
      • Requests for Personnel Actions
      • Conducting Civilian in/out-processing
      • Scheduling physical exams
      • Data entry, updates, and reporting
      • Organizational Charts
      • Manpower Support
    • Managing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects.
    • Perform records management functions by organizing, creating, deleting, retrieving and replacing electronic and hard-copy files.
    • Routinely interface with senior leadership and human resources personnel to capture requirements, and discuss strategies to achieve optimal HR Support.
    • Perform office Customer Service support functions:
      • Answer and direct phone calls
      • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
      • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
      • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
      • Provide general support to visitors



    • Have a current Secret clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance.




    Required Skill Set:

    • At least 2 years Administrative Assistant work experience.
    • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office, with a special emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
    • Ability to brief/interact with senior leadership.
    • Attention to Detail (Data Entry and the requirements of correct and accurate data tracking, adhere to established work processes).
    • Articulate Professional Writing and Speaking ability.


    Desired Skill Set:

    • US ARMY or SOCOM administrative experience; prior experience with coding time cards is a plus
    • Knowledge and understanding of Special Operations
    • Able to learn on the job and open dynamic situations.
