Mayvin is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve as a Network Architect that will provide support to a USSOCOM customer. This position will be located at Ft. Bragg, NC. The candidate will be a part of a team that is charged with quickly providing SOF units deployed globally with innovative government and commercial off-the-shelf solutions that address urgent requirements.
This position requires U.S. citizenship. TS/SCI clearance is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study from a fully accredited institution. (Advanced degree preferred but not required)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification preferred
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 certification preferred
DoD 8570.01m certification required
Certifications must be less than 2.5 years old
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI (active) is required.
Minimum of ten years of experience as a network engineer
Experience managing, testing, and maintaining the proficiency of all areas of network and airborne communication program to include: understanding the architectures of a wide range of airborne communication communications systems, and integrating network equipment and airborne systems utilizing traditional networking, radio, or satellite communications
Experience supporting Special Operations Command organizations
Experience with the military is preferred
Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical, and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients and company management
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
