    Mayvin® is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Accounting Data Development Specialist.  This position will be located in Washington D.C. This position’s primary function is to serve as an Accounting Data Development Specialist to support a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. This position is contingent upon contract award.

     

    You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Secret clearance and/or DHS Suitability is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Must have strong analytical and policy analysis backgrounds. 
    • Working experience with data warehousing, extraction, and integration methodologies.
    • Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests.
    • Superior skills with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and Power-point)

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
    • General Experience: The Accounting Data Development Specialist shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting.
    • Fifteen (15) years of direct experience in federal government and/or military accounting in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

     

    Clearance:

    • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance and/or DHS Suitability is required.

    Experience:

    • Department of Homeland Security background preferred but not required
    • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • Possess excellent analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and to prioritize appropriately.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
    • Possess a solid track record of delivering excellent customer service.
