Overview

Mayvin® is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Business Applications Developer that will support Naval Special Warfare Training and Readiness Management System (NTRMS). This position is located on Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, CA. The primary objective of this requirement is to obtain software development support to resolve a backlog of critical development tasking deemed necessary for the continued operation and enhancement of NTRMS.

You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Business systems software engineering to include analysis of business needs and systems flow
  • Determination of data storage and usage requirements while development of solutions to facilitate business work processes
  • Support for all areas of the software development lifecycle to include the development of platforms and features across multiple subsystems, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, training, deployment, operations and sustainment support
  • Analysis of information and user requirements, designing and debugging software, documenting software, software testing, problem solving, requirements collection, stakeholder collaboration, user support, and system maintenance

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of web development experience required
  • Security + certification required
  • Experience with the following programming languages and tools required:
    • VB.NET and C#.NET
    • Microsoft (MS) SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • MS ASP.NET
    • MS Internet Information Server
    • MS Visual Studio
    • Integration of other services and products with a structured query language database server
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to identify and manage multiple priorities required.
  • Experience interfacing with clients and customers at varying levels.
  • Positive, proactive, highly motivated, flexible.
  • Able to work as a team member and work across many teams.
  • Ability to provide ongoing functional support and planning for areas of responsibility; analyze and correct problems
