Mayvin is currently seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Specialist. The selected candidate will support Government Project Manager(s) at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Headquarters site located in Washington, D.C. The candidate will serve on an Integrated Product Team (IPT) or similar structure performing a range of acquisition activities acquiring border security technology. Specifically the candidate will provide acquisition experience and leadership from cradle to grave acquisitions/procurements beginning with the planning phase through contract close-out. Additional support includes all aspects of both pre-award functions (e.g. site surveys, market research documents, requirement development/defining activities, acquisition strategy, Independent Government Cost Estimates/lifecycle cost documents, solicitation and award packages, and related contractual documents), and post-award administration. This position provides overall policy and program guidance and acquisition oversight for a portfolio of communications, networks and information technology programs, projects and initiatives within the Non-Intrusive Inspection.
