Overview

Mayvin has an immediate opening for Senior Level Explosive Ordnance Disposal Project Manager. 

Responsibilities

 

Mayvin is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Senior Level Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Counter-Improvised Explosives (C-IED) Project Manager to perform day-to-day management of contract support operations, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, on a single project. Demonstrates skills in the scope of work encompassed by the task order; provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work, and reviews the quality of all work products. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. Responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight. The Project Manager maintains and manages the client interface at the COTR levels of the client organization. Assists senior management as required in managing contract performance. The candidate will provide EOD expertise and analysis of explosives, bomb-making materials, including home-made explosive and precursors, and related threat tactics, techniques and protocols.

 

 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree at a minimum; with 4+ years of experience as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician
  • 2+ years of analysis experience in supporting C-IED missions, including functioning as a Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) analyst, and highly knowledgeable of the global IED threat
  • Expert knowledge of and experience in analysis of IED componentry, manufacturing and implementation, including home-made explosives, and tactics, techniques and protocols (TTPs) for bomb threats
  • Expert in assessment, technical review and validation of explosives-related content and reporting
  • Experience in writing and editing of technical analytic products is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Law Enforcement community and/or DHS is highly desired
