Mayvin® is currently seeking experienced applicants to serve as Acquisition Support Specialists that will provide customer IT acquisition and procurement support at Crane, Indiana.

Secret clearance required.


  • Gather procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority (RTA) to be used in an acquisition plan to determine resources and track procurement packages
  • Assist the RTA in preparation of the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement. [The TDP shall consist of the following items: formal Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approval (J&As) for other than Full and Open Competition, Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), Independent Government Research (IGE), Market Research, Contractor Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Determination and Findings (D&F), and other required documentation for a procurement]
  • Maintain and prepare statistical acquisitions reports, formulation and maintenance of centralized electronic COR files, and provide overall administrative support to Seaport-e CORs
  • Shall maintain files related to the acquisition requirements and plans, monitor the acquisition trends and patterns and coordinate input to data calls, and provide support to monitor funding



  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited university is preferred, not required.


  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance required.


  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with DOD acquisition
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups
  • Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA (compliance)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Mastery in use of personal computers with extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
