Overview

Mayvin® is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Technical Instructor/Course Developer opportunity. This person will be responsible for curriculum revision and maintenance. Technical curriculum may involve electronics or more highly technical areas such as radio and electronics repair or operation of weapons systems. Travel is expected to both CONUS and OCONUS locales. U.S. citizenship is required.

This position is controlled by the Service ContractAct (SCA) and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act(FLSA).

Position contingent upon contract award. Current Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, creates graphics, and integrates them into curriculum.
  • Teaches short technical courses in accordance with approved curriculum to maintain proficiency and to evaluate and develop new instructional techniques/courses.
  • Incorporation of new curriculum in the teaching process (e.g., develops clarification or examples of application related to the subject matter), development and maintenance of classroom techniques that reflect professionalism and good discipline and enhance teaching, development of alternative teaching techniques and scenarios to maintain high motivation and interest in the subject areas, and while acting as the testing officer, the conducting of test analysis and development or revision of test items.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED, Training Certification.

  • Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years work experience or equivalent experience - preferred 

Clearance:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Current Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Experience:

  • Eight (8) years of experience in Department of Defense training, C4ISR systems, information management, or information assurance.
  • Developing appropriate course material.
  • Hands on practical experience with techniques being taught, researching latest technical discipline practices, establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, and developing training programs.
  • Hands-on experience with military communications, intelligence and/or reconnaissance systems
  • Three (3) years of experience with Tagging, Tracking and Locating (TTL) systems or similar C4ISR systems.
