Overview

The Mayvin Consulting Group, Inc. (Mayvin®) is currently seeking experienced applicants for a Program Manager position that will support an Army client located at Fort Belvoir. This position is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Support Rapid Response Operational Insertion and Integration of CERDEC/NVESD Technologies
  • Provide technical capabilities that support ISR architecture, C4 network architecture, logistics and sustainment, training, assessments, mission support, force protection, de-mining, and other humanitarian assistance
  • Provide Headquarters or Command and Control Element Staff Support
  • Provide technical support to the Staff or Joint Staff sections of the Headquarters
  • Provide technical support to the Night Vision Electro-optic Sensors Directorate to enhance the transition of technology to the expeditionary or special operations warfighter
  • Provide technical support related to collecting and analyzing intelligence information, and managing geographical information systems and data
  • Provide technical support related to planning and coordinating operations, and those necessary to enable the headquarters to accomplish assigned missions sustaining the unit's operations, planning future operations, and planning and executing necessary training on behalf of the headquarters
  • Provide technical support related to design, development, acquisition, storage, distribution, maintenance, evacuation, and disposition of materiel on behalf of the headquarters
  • Provide technical support related to civil military operations (CMO) strategy planning, partnership building, and identifying future technology needs to include support to identifying, justifying, distributing and reporting on resources
  • Provide technical support related to communications including the issue of communications instructions and protocol during operations as well as for communications troubleshooting, issue, and preventative maintenance
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all and program support activities
  • Interface with government personnel
  • Determine and monitor project costs
  • Ensure conformance and mange direct project personnel to ensure contract objectives and performance standard are met
  • Interpret contracts, policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations organization
  • Identify, acquire, and use company resources to achieve project technical objectives

Qualifications

Education:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree. The candidate may substitute an additional six years of related experience for a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s degree is desired (may substitute additional four years of experience for a Master’s Degree).

Clearance:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret/ SCI clearance is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in management and support to NVESD Quick Response, Theater Command HQs and/or Theater Components planning, organization, operations and reporting needs involved with expeditionary warfare and special operations including five (5) years supervision of projects on a federal contracts
  • Recent knowledge of organizational processes, risk management, quality processes and quality management, schedule and cost control, basic contracting law
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations and Army Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
